The need
The management team needed to test their ability to operate as a self managing unit in preparation for both the planned move of their head of business and increasing business demands.
What we did
We designed an off site team building event which enabled the use of experiential learning to understand the teams strengths and development needs around planning, communication, teamwork and trust.The team returned to the business with a better understanding of themselves and how they operated.This was followed up six months |
later by a detailed team strengths evaluation leading to a clear action plan to increase their ability to achieve key targets.
What we achieved
The head of business was able to release himself to head up a key corporate risk project and was succeeded by a member of the management team. They have developed an effective method of operating using a blend of clear leadership and direction, coupled with high levels of collaborative working. The team are managing their business areas successful growth and maintaining strong links across the boundaries between the various teams. |
